Fall of 97’
In
the fall of 1997, in a rainy western town
We
were both on the road after traveling far, and in Prince George we
settled down
I
was with my band on a western tour, we were coming from Terrace B.C.
The
Who was a calling, and we were a following, living a fantasy
Oh, what a time, with friends from home,
we
traveled so far across out land
Oh, what a time, to be out on the road,
seems so
long ago, back in the fall of 1997
At
the Generator we played for a week, and we cranked out our rock ‘n’ roll
On
Wednesday night we tore down for some guests, and watched Wide Mouth
steal the
show
After
every gig we rolled back to the pad, and we worked on the infamous wall
The
afternoon we hung out much the same, by Sunday we’d covered it all
Oh, what a time, with friends from home,
we
traveled so far across out land
Oh, what a time, to be out on the road,
seems so
long ago, back in the fall of 1997
Sunday
morning it was time to head out, time to say farewell to B.C.
I
was off to Jasper, next stop on tour, and we went back to the East
